Features

Ssemora's features, module by module.

In the order of the product's menu: encounter, report, suggestions, clinical settings, system administration and help. Only features that work today are described.

Encounter

Where the recording is captured, followed and measured.

Encounter › New Encounter

Recording and Upload

Record from the browser on a computer or a phone; pause, resume, finish with Complete, or start over with Restart. You can also upload a ready-made audio file. An unfinished recording is kept on the device; once the connection returns, you choose Resume, Send or Delete.

Encounter › Photos

Adding Photos

Add up to 6 clinical photos to the encounter: findings such as wounds, skin lesions and rashes, as well as ECG printouts, laboratory and test results, imaging reports or discharge summaries from other centres. On a phone and in the Android app, Take Photo opens the rear camera; the photo is downsized on the device, and location and device information are removed on the server. Photos for which you give the "No face/ID visible" confirmation contribute to the report and the suggestions.

Encounter › Encounters

Encounter List

All your encounters in a single list. You see the processing status of each at a glance and open the result of any encounter you choose.

Result Screen › Full Transcript

Transcript and Audio Recording

The raw transcript, labelled Physician, Patient and Companion, and the audio recording always remain accessible; every piece of evidence in the report is linked back to them.

Encounter › Statistics

Statistics

Select a period to see encounter counts and charts; export the data as CSV.

Report

An encounter note that fits the institution's template, with its sources marked.

Result Screen › Report

Evidence-Linked Report

Every sentence extracted from the recording is linked to a character range in the transcript and to a second in the audio recording. Yellow: extracted from the recording. Red: missing or uncertain. Grey: model interpretation, with no direct basis in the recording. Outlined: written or changed by the physician. Each status is distinguished not only by colour but also by line style and icon. A finding extracted from a photo (e.g. rate and rhythm on an ECG, a result value in a test) is shown with a "From image · Image N" label; tapping it opens the relevant photo.

Result Screen › Verification

Verification and Finalisation Gate

Red and grey items awaiting your approval are collected in a single list. When you select one, the sentence is highlighted in the report and its rationale appears; verify it, edit it or remove it. The gate is enforced on the server: depending on the institution's setting, the report cannot be finalised while unapproved items remain (default), a "finalise anyway" confirmation is required, or the gate is switched off.

Result Screen

Editing and Version History

Edit the report directly. Automatic, manual and recent versions are kept in the history; you can compare versions and return to an unapproved version.

Result Screen

Approval

Approval locks the report and is written to the audit log. The text on the approval screen states that the physician is responsible for the medical content of the record.

Result Screen

Translation

Translate the report into another language for viewing only. If a number, unit or drug name changes in the translation, you receive a warning.

Suggestions

A panel that offers information to the physician's own assessment and does not make decisions.

Result Screen › Suggestions

Reasoned Suggestions in Four Groups

  • Questions that could be asked
  • Tests that could be requested
  • Medications that could be prescribed
  • General suggestions

Every suggestion comes with a one-line rationale and its source; a suggestion without a rationale is not shown. Suggestions are read-only and selectable: none comes pre-selected, none is highlighted as "recommended", and none is applied automatically. No single diagnosis is proposed, and no probability or risk score is produced. Findings in the photos added to the encounter (e.g. values on an ECG or test printout) are also reflected in the suggestions.

Outputs and Sharing

The approved report can be obtained as a file or as text, depending on need.

Word

The approved report is obtained as Word (.docx); encounter photos appear with their captions in the "Images" section. Suggestions are not included in the file.

PDF

The PDF of an approved report carries a signature block and a verification QR code; the QR code leads to a public verification page that shows neither the patient's identity nor the content. The PDF of a draft carries a "DRAFT — unsigned" watermark. Photos are also included in the PDF, and the signature covers them as well.

Printing and Sharing

A print view, and share text for WhatsApp or email. Consent is confirmed before sharing, and every share is recorded.

Sending to the HIS

The report must be approved for sending; nothing goes out without physician approval. The connector is planned according to the institution's system; see the Integration page for details.

Clinical Settings

The institution and the physician determine the format and language of the report.

Clinical Settings › Report Templates

Report Templates

Define institution templates with a JSON schema; manage them safely with Preview, Test, Version and Deactivate.

Clinical Settings › My Templates

My Templates

Physicians create and edit their own personal templates.

Clinical Settings › Abbreviation Dictionary

Abbreviation Dictionary

Have abbreviations written out in full in the report. Import and export with CSV; a ready-made list of medical abbreviations is included. The dictionary is applied without breaking evidence ranges.

System Administration

Where the institution administrator manages users, logs and data.

System Administration › Users and Roles

Users and Roles

Physician, administrator and auditor roles. A username is unique across all institutions; a temporary password is set for each new user.

System Administration › System Logs

Audit Log

Who did what and when is recorded. Even deleting a log entry is written to the log.

System Administration › Backup and Data

Backup and Data

Take manual and automatic backups, verify them and download them. Export institution data as ZIP or JSON; there are endpoints for per-patient export and deletion.
